First of April

My calling in the Twin Falls 15th ward is Beehive Advisor. I hosted the girls one evening with Ryan's help, and we taught the girls some "babysitting 101". They each had a doll and we had them practice CPR, how to change diapers, and talk through some basic rules of babysitting.

General conference weekend came once again and it sure was wonderful! My parents came up to stay for a couple of days.

Bompa knows that all the boys need is some head rubbing and they calm right down.

We found Pillar Falls behind us!

Found a snake too...

On saturday we grabbed some lunch at Scooter's, and boy was it good. It was so fun to have them! Conference was wonderful too and President Nelson is absolutely full of new revelation from Jesus Christ.

My boys were all matchy-matchy.
One crazy evening when Ryan was working late, the kids were driving me INSANE... so I decided to throw them all into a bubble bath where they played happily for awhile. Sometimes it's the little things that can turn a bad day around.
This girl is always sitting in the strangest positions during meals. We call it "perching".
This cute Utah girl. She's my daughter.

Breakfast in the RV is so wonderful. Turn on the heater... stay inside where it's warm and comfortable... no bugs or dirt... pull breakfast ingredients out of the fridge. Yes please!
In between all of the fun sight-seeing and hikes, we snuck in some time visiting my high school friends Jen and Don Willie! It was so fun to see their new home, their kiddos, and catch up for the evening.
We also spent a couple hours playing at Thunder Junction park in St. George (for the second time this trip). It was so much fun!! And absolutely perfect weather too. The kids especially loved the train ride this time and splashing around to cool off.

Next we headed to Red Cliffs to do a short hike and play in the river (which we hoped we would find...). Thank goodness we did!
The sun started going down as we headed back to the car and it was sooo beautiful.

It was a VERY full day and we needed a little down-time...

Gunlock Reservoir this spring was SO full from all of the snow run-off that it caused waterfalls for the first time in 7 years!! We HAD to make time to go hang out there and it was time well-spent. We could have spent all day there! The water was freeeeeezing but we still had so much fun splashing around and losing feeling in our feet.
